During the summer, it’s all about glowing skin. One brand I really love is Simple Skincare. I met with one of their Simple Advisory Board members, Dermatologist Dr. Debra Luftman, to get some tips on how to keep your skin healthy and hydrated during warmer months. The skincare tips were so easy that I was able to use them all day! You can check them out in my Day in the Life Of video. They also inspired to create two simple but chic summer looks.
For my first outfit, I started with summer classics: a crisp button-down and white jeans. Then I took inspiration from Simple Skincare’s packaging and brought in a pop of color with a green handbag and yellow heels. There was even some yellow on my sunnies! Injecting cheerful brights is a great way to mix up classics in your wardrobe.
For my second look, I did a green shirtdress. The cotton fabric was so comfortable in the heat. For a bolder look, you could colorblock with yellow accents. But I kept to the green theme and did a minty bag then finished it off with neutrals.
