To be honest, until the other week, I had not worn a unitard since dance class in the early ’90s. But with onesies making a major comeback in the athleisure world, I decided to give one a try. So how does one wear an active bodysuit? For starters, I suggest only wearing one to low impact workouts, such as yoga or pilates. The long leotard I wore to class was fine for a rowing class but I wouldn’t wear it to hit the treadmill.
My favorite part about active bodysuits are that they are SO comfortable. So they’re the perfect base layer for casual outfits before and/or after your workouts. Below are three ways I styled my active bodysuit as streetwear.
