It’s almost July Fourth! I can’t believe how fast this summer going. There are so many outfits you can wear to Fourth of July. It really depends on what you’re doing. In the past I’ve worn a red bikini with a white coverup, a romper with a flag scarf and red shorts with a denim top. This year I’m taking inspiration from the nautical trend with stripes.
Stripes are the perfect print for July 4th. I started with a breezy striped button-down, then added an All-American denim skirt. You can double up on stripes, too. Either go matchy-matchy with the same print or mix different size lines, like I did with my pinstripe wedges (they also come in red). Adding to the sailor chic style, I brought out my anchor necklace. Then I got into the patriotic spirit with my handbag for a little red, white and blue. I usually do red nails for the holiday weekend but couldn’t pass up this new Essie color, “Saltwater Happy.”
What are you wear to celebrate the holiday? If you need more ideas, I’ll have a shopping post up tomorrow. And you can scroll down to related posts to see past outfits for inspiration!
