Shopping for swimsuits can be rough. But here’s a little trick when you’re looking for the perfect one-piece bathing suit: go for ruching. The gathered fabric on the midsection is extremely forgiving and helps create a slimming silhouette for all body types. I went with a ruched swimsuit that has diagonal stripes, which is another flattering design. It creates that perfect hourglass shape for women with or without curves.

Now when it comes to shopping for pool floats, go wild! My assistant, Haley, is quite obsessed with this summer’s floaties trend so we shot with her vast collection of swans, donuts and watermelons.
