Inspired By: Ali Larter’s Striped Dress

Sydne Style what to wear with a bandage dressOff-the-shoulder is a huge trend right. And nothing screams summer more than stripes. I absolutely adored the black and white striped dress Ali Larter recently wore at a charity fundraiser. A ponytail was the perfect choice to show off her shoulders and a chunkier ankle strappy shoe balanced out the shorter hemline.

I did a similar look with a Ronny Kobo dress (it’s now 60% off in Shopbop’s major sale!). Unlike traditional stripes, it has a dot and line pattern, which creates a flattering silhouette as it hugs the body. I channeled Ali with a similar hairstyle but you can also pull your hair to one side to show off the neckline. I used a straw clutch to mix prints then kept the rest of my accessories very minimal.
