Whenever I think of New England, I always think of stripes. My recent trip to Newport was the perfect time to add more of the nautical print to my wardrobe. I feel like shorts keep getting shorter and shorter. So it’s always nice to find a pair that let you walk around a town without having to worry about showing too much from behind. I love ones with more volume on bottom and a higher waist to lengthen the leg. To beat the heat, I added a breezy chambray button-down then kept the rest of my outfit neutral while exploring the sights of Rhode Island.
