Inspired By: Rashida Jones’ Floral Shorts and Blazer

Los Angeles Fashion writer and People Stylewatch contributor Sydne Summer shows how to bring florals into fall.I’m a huge fan of wearing shorts at night. They’re super comfortable and a great alternative to a skirt or dress. And you can wear them into fall with the right styling! Just take a look at Rashida Jones at the Jimmy Choo party to celebrate Billboard Magazine‘s Men of Style issue. I love how she contrasted her short shorts with a buttoned-up-to-the-neck blouse and tapped into the menswear trend with a boyfriend blazer. I created a similar look with my dark floral shorts. The black background makes them work better for fall. A little tip when wearing a shirt underneath a jacket: go sleeveless! Then you don’t have to worry about any material bunching up. And instead of an ankle strap shoes, I did a classic black pump for a more elongating look.

I seriously love this outfit Sydne. I know the Elizabeth and James blazer is older but would you happen to know the style name? Also, Rashida’s shorts…do you know where they are from.

BTW, You are my favorite blogger

Thanks so much Lily! Unfortunately I don’t 🙁 It doesn’t have the style name on the label. Rashida’s shorts are by Suno xx
