One of my fashion week highlights was getting to attend the Project Runway show with Mary Kay. I’ve been waiting to share these photos with you for months and now that the finale aired last night on Lifetime I finally can! (Spoiler alert: about to disclose the winner).

If you watched my fashion week vlog, you already saw a sneak peek of my day. It started off getting my makeup done with Mary Kay before the show. For my look we went with a similar style to the winner’s: congrats Ashley Nell Tipton! I absolutely loved her 1950 Mexico City inspiration. And the rich plums and pinks work equally great with this season’s gray trend, like my charcoal jumpsuit, as they did with her colorful winning designs.

The majority of my eye was achieved with the Mary Kay Eye Color Palette in City Sophisticate. It has a great mixture of matte and shiny shadows. While Ashley chose a deeper plum for her models, I brought the runway look to real life with an easier to wear berry shade. Mary Kay Creme Lipstick in Whipped Berries has since become one of my fave go-tos! All I needed was one of the designer’s flower crowns to finish off the look… but for the time being my silver necklace added the glamour.

Thank you to Mary Kay for such an incredible experience! I had so much fun with my blogger girls Christine, Sheryl and Mara attending the show in our fab runway inspired makeup. And congrats to the first plus size fashion designer to win Project Runway! I can’t wait to see what’s next from Ashley.
