What To Wear With a Flare Skirt

Sydne Style shows how to wear a crop top with a pencil skirt for spring fashion outfit ideasIt’s all about flares recently from cropped jeans to wide-leg denim. But another flare is also having a moment: the fluted flare skirt. It’s essentially a pencil shape that flares out on bottom, also referred to as a trumpet skirt. You can go with any length but I prefer ones that hit just above or below the knee. It really creates an hourglass silhouette when you either tuck in a fitted top, or go for a crop top like I did. I love the retro feel of the skirt, especially with the cute daisy motif, so I brought that out with my new white sunnies and kept the rest of the look black and white as well.

I’ll be showing more ways to wear ruffled hems—and ruffles in general!— in this week’s Trend Guide video. You can subscribe to my YouTube channel to watch it first!
