Dressing for the office during a heatwave can be rough. You wake up in the morning and can’t imagine putting anything else on but a tank and shorts, at least that’s how I felt when I was in New York City the other week. I had three days full of back-to-back meetings. And it was the hottest days the city had experienced all year.

One of my tricks for dressing for meetings during hot summer months is an a-line midi dress. The voluminous skirt let’s you breathe on bottom while the longer length is appropriate for the office. You can wear flats, but if you’re on the shorter side like me, a stacked heel is more slimming.
