It’s much easier to find a flattering pair of sunglasses when you wear your hair down. But it’s trickier to find sunnies that work with a ponytail, or any updo for that matter. That’s why I’m loving the round sunglasses trend. The oversize, circular style compliments a pulled back hairstyle. And it’s great for adding a retro vibe to any outfit.

I fell in love with these black and gold Foster Grant circle sunnies the minute I tried them on (you might remember me wearing them in Miami, with a ponytail of course). They’re extremely lightweight and the $25 price tag is just right for a trendy style.

Since Foster Grant has a long, storied history that dates back to 1919, I thought it would be fun to wear the brand to an afternoon of art history. So I slipped on my round sunnies to attend the opening of Two Rodeo Drive and Gallerie Michael’s art exhibit of Salvador Dali. It was incredible walking through Beverly Hills looking at a dozen of the artist’s most famous sculptures, all through the eyes of my Foster Grants.
