After spending the morning in Positano, we drove down the Amalfi Coast to have lunch in Sorrento, Italy. We spent an hour exploring the town and I saw quite a few weddings take place. All the alleys were so picturesque! We had an incredible meal at Hotel Tramantano (I devoured the tiramasu!). The restaurant overlooked the water and had a glamorous historical feel.
I went for old-school glamour with my look as well, with a 1950s style black and white dress. When I’m traveling, I’m all about dresses that you can transition from day to night. Cat eye sunglasses and comfy wedges let me wear the printed piece around the city while heels made it the perfect dress for a delicious dinner at the Chef’s Table onboard the Royal Carribean the following evening. The flowing material was ideal for the 7 courses you might have seen on my Insta Stories! Watch live updates of my European adventures over there! I’m @sydnesummer.

“Do you know the land where the lemon-trees grow,
in darkened leaves the gold-oranges glow,
a soft wind blows from the pure blue sky,
the myrtle stands mute, and the bay-tree high?
Do you know it well?
It’s there I’d be gone,
to be there with you, O, my beloved one…”
