Continuing my weekly holiday party outfit inspiration, today I wanted to bring you an idea on what to wear to a daytime holiday party. Here are my three tips for how to dress for a holiday party during the day:

1. Start with a sweater dress.

Sweater weather means sweater dresses. I went with an off-the-shoulder stye but there are so many options to choose from. Two bonuses? It keeps you warm and the stretch means you’re free to indulge all you want.

2. Add a pair of boots or booties.

Since I’m on the petite side, you’ll generally find me wearing heels at parties. During the day, a stiletto can feel a little intense… unless it’s on a boot or bootie! I did nude to help lengthen my legs.

3. Use accessories for a festive touch.

Handbags and jewelry instantly make any outfit more festive. You can add a touch of sparkle or bring in a touch of red like I did with my purse.
