As much as I’ve always loved the look of a turtleneck, for years I couldn’t wear them. I always felt too constricted and would find myself tugging at my neckline, counting down the minutes till I could change. But because I thought the look was so chic, I slowly started training myself to deal with having fabric covering my neck. I still don’t like anything super tight, which is why I’m loving the looser styles available this season. For those who can’t deal with it all, I suggest a cowl-neck. For those who are easing into the trend, I suggest a looser knit fabric, like this olive turtleneck that allows for some breathing room.
I went for a holiday green look by layering a printed jacket over my turtleneck. It’s such an easy way to dress up denim for season, especially when you add a pair of pumps. My jacket is actually already on sale for Black Friday.
