If you watched my New York Fashion Week vlog, you already know it was freezing in the city! I sipped lots of green tea to keep warm. In last week’s Sunday Bites & Sips I shared my NYC restaurant guide so today I figured I bring you to my three favorite spots for green tea in the city:
When I need a pretty spot for meetings …

GREECOLOGIES {Soho}
379 Broome St, New York, NY 10013 / 212-941-0100
I accidentally stumbled upon this gem when trying out the trendy Cha Cha Matcha down the street. I prefer this place for a few reasons: 1. They have the prettiest latte art. 2. The marble tables photograph beautifully in the natural light that comes through the windows. 3. Combine one and two and you have the perfect Instagram photo. 4. Social media aside, their green tea lattes are absolutely delicious and there are a bunch of milk options to choose from. 5. There is enough seating inside to have meetings and plugs to recharge your phone. When weather allows, there’s a cute outdoor patio as well. [/one_half_last]
When I want my green tea latte with lunch…

MAMAN {Tribeca}
211 W Broadway, New York, NY 10013 / 646-882-8682
I just tried Maman for the first time during fashion week and I’m obsessed! They have multiple locations around the city but the Tribeca spot is the only one that has a sit down eating space. Anything that’s French usually gets a star in my book. We sipped our green tea lattes before devouring deconstructed avocado toast and the most delicious chocolate croissant. If you’re looking for a spot to Instagram, their tile floors are perfect for a #fromwhereistand snap. [/one_half_last]

JUICE GENERATION {Locations all over New York}
Being from Los Angeles, I love a good green juice. So I’ll often pop into juice bars when I’m traveling to get my fix. A couple of years ago when I was in New York for work I started to get sick. I planned on loading myself up on juice and vitamins when I saw the Cold Warrior on the menu. It’s a green tea mixed with orange juice, ginger, echinacea and goldenseal (a herb that is said to help colds). It sounded weird but I figured the ingredients couldn’t hurt! I ended up loving the hot drink and now sip instead of green juice when I’m visiting the city during colder months. Mix it with one of their vitamin packed shots (my fave is The Cure) and you’ll kick your cold in no time.[/one_half_last]

That’s great, Sydne, it was helpful. My family also loves green tea. In addition to its excellent taste and smell, it has just a lot of useful properties. We usually buy tea here https://www.roseandblanc.com/collections/palais-des-thes , and have whole tea ceremonies at home.
