Happy National Dress day! I just love all these national holidays. They’re so fun and a great inspiration for Instagram. Apparently today is all about dresses. So I wanted to show two ways to wear one of the biggest dress trends of the moment: the slip dress.
For daytime, I went super ’90s and paired a t-shirt under my slip dress. I thought about wearing sneakers but instead did lace-up flats for a ballerina inspired look. For night, I nodded to ’90s minimalism by keeping my accessories simple with a snakeskin clutch and my favorite nude ankle strap sandals. It felt very Carrie Bradshaw from the episode where she just wanted Big to “stand still” with her. Any other Sex and the City fans remember that romantic moment?

Loved the way you wore this silky dress, both outfits are just perfect and a proof that it ain’t that hard to switch up the same combo from a daytime to a night out one!
