Inspired By Jessica Chastain in Lavender at Cannes

Sydne Style wears ronny kobo purple knit dress for summer date nightThe Cannes Film Festival is one of my favorite celebrity fashion events of the year.  I rounded up nine of my favorite red carpet dresses from Cannes 2017 over on my Facebook page. The biggest red carpet trend I noticed was movement. Jessica Chastain and Uma Thurman sashayed down the red carpet in fringe while Julianne Moore, Naomi Cambell and Molly Sims opted for feathers.

I particularly loved Jessica Chastain in a lavender Givenchy dress at the Okja premiere. You may remember the other week I was inspired by lavender and yellow. But the purple color looks equally as beautiful on its own.

I brought a more casual version of the Cannes look to Soho, New York by going with a lavender midi dress that offers movement thanks to a flared hem. Fringe earrings gave it an extra playful spin. Another thing I love about this dress? The knit means no creasing, making it perfect for travel!
