One of my favorite items I got from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale were these black over the knee boots. I already have a leather and suede pair but I couldn’t resist these knit thigh high boots (especially since they’re on sale right now!). The sock boot trend is something I’ve been wanting to try for a while and I’m obsessed. They create such a long and lean look for dresses since they hug your legs.
I was going to wait to wear these until Fall but then I saw Charlize Theron in black over the knee boots at Comic Con. She inspired me to step out in my boots early with a shirtdress. It’s such a simple duo that is uber comfy while still very sleek.
