One of my favorite family trips I ever took was to celebrate my stepdad’s 60th birthday in Mayakoba, Mexico. We had a white party on the beach, ate ceviche every day and laughed in the sand. So I was thrilled when Mayakoba invited me to celebrate the opening of Andaz in Riviera Maya last week. It was a super quick trip but I wanted to share snapshots and highlights from an incredible two days:
The Beach
The BeachThe beaches in Mayakoba are so beautiful. I love the white sand and palm trees that double as lounges.
The Food
Whether it was in ceviche or salads, I ordered tuna every day. It was so incredibly fresh! The margaritas were also spectacular.
The rooms
My favorite part about my room was the private pool on the balcony. I spent my last morning ordering room service and soaking up the Mexico sun.
