These Accessories Will Keep You Cozy for Holiday Travel

Sydne Style shows how to look stylish with cold weather accessories while travelingWith Thanksgiving just days away, I’ve been starting to think about what to wear when traveling home for the holidays. Over the years I’ve perfected my uniform: a black base (usually stretchy jeans and a cashmere sweater) with cozy cold weather accessories. These are my four go-tos:

Comfy Booties

I’ve been a fan of UGG boots for years and Bloomingdale’s has an amaze selection. I love the stacked heel on these black booties because they make them a little dressier. They’re super comfy for a car ride or the airport but still chic enough if I have to head straight to dinner.

Next up is accessories. I generally do a hat so I don’t have to worry about my hair day of travel. I was drawn to the two-tone coloring of this wool fedora. I went with gray and black but it also comes in gray and camel.

Oversize Scarves

My favorite cold weather accessory for travel is a cashmere wrap. You can wear it as a scarf to add interest to your outfit then it doubles as a soft blanket if you want to take a nap.

Expandable Tote

I’ve been using this nylon tote for years. It’s water-resistant and and has an adjustable shoulder strap. But my favorite part is that it expands! I generally go somewhere with it zipped up, then expand it to carry all my extra things I pick up while traveling.

I hope these travel tips help you wherever you’re off to this holiday season!

    Hello Author,

Thank you for sharing it. Can we use these accessories during the trip, hiking, or party. We friends are planning to go out for a tour by party bus. We will visit these places as mentioned in the site: http://Www.ArlingtonTxPartyBus.Com. Pls check them and let me know whether these accessories can be used at places that are mentioned in this site. One more question that do you sell party related accessories?

Thanks for the article. I have always problems with travel attire. Either I dress too shabbily, or two pompously. In both ways, inappropriately.

Don’t you think too much of your attire. You will not be invited to the coronation anyway. So the rest is just a waste of time and money. If you go on a Jeep tour in Skye I recommend you to have comfortable wear and a good camera. Don’t forget to be in a good mood. Although I am sure that after you finish your trip, you will be over the moon anyway.
