Everyone who knows me knows that I’m always cold. Random fact: when I moved to LA from Miami in high school, I thought Los Angeles was freezing! You can only imagine my surprise during my first Boston winter in college.

Since I’m always cold, I always have to have something to layer during the summer. Sometimes it’s a denim jacket, other times it’s a blazer and recently it’s been a lightweight cardigan.

I prefer a longer style, since it works well with jeans and shorts (which I find myself living in during summer months). I was particularly drawn to the metallic knit on this cardigan since it felt a little dressier if I wanted to wear it at night. I brought out the gold with my accessories then kept to a neutral color palette with my new fave cami and tassel jeans. Check out my Instagram to see how I wore the look for daytime!
