What’s your favorite fashion decade? During summer months, I find myself getting inspired by the 1960s. I love the vibrant prints and relaxed retro glamour. When packing for my trip to Santa Barbara last weekend, I brought along a retro maxi dress that had a total ’60s vibe.
I wore this printed maxi dress to dinner at the Hilton Santa Barbara (more on the trip soon!). What I love about high neckline maxi dresses is they look best with your hair up. On vacation, it’s nice not to have to worry about your hair. I just threw mine back into a low ponytail and added turquoise statement earrings. This dress actually comes with a waist tie but I removed it for a more flowing style (which was a good choice for our delicious meal!).
