3 Reasons I Love Printed Wrap Dresses for Summer

When I had an office job, my closet was full of printed wrap dresses for summer months. They’re such an easy piece to throw on to instantly look polished. Over the years, I continue to add more wrap dresses to my collection, especially printed ones during the summer. Here are three reasons why:

1. Wrap dresses look good on almost every body type.

Whether you’re petite, curvy, straight or tall, a wrap flatters almost every figure. Since it nips at the waist and drapes across the body, it enhances or creates that desired hourglass silhouette.

2. Wrap dresses transition from the office to dinner.

As long as your wrap dress has sleeves and hits just above or below the knee, you can easily wear it to the office. For more conservative work environments pair it with pumps or a pointed ballet flat. For more relaxed offices, you can wear your wrap dress with sandals, then easily go into nighttime by adding a bold lip.

3. Wrap dresses are especially forgiving in a print.

I don’t know about you, but I was sweating all last week. We had an insane heatwave in LA! I love prints for heatwaves because they camouflage sweat. A print is also helpful if you accidentally spill something on your dress at the office.
