Yes, Fall is just around the corner. But Mother Nature is totally clueless about that. If where you live is anything like LA, you’ve been like me and just trying to figure out what to wear to beat the heat! My solution this past weekend was a cotton midi dress.
When I ordered this cotton dress I thought it was red, like it looked online. I was pleasantly surprised to see it arrive in orange. It’s great to go from day to night. I wore my comfy nude sandals to walk around Beverly Hills one day. Then I did a higher heel at night. My orange bag came with me on both occasions.
This J. Crew strappy knit midi dress ($69.50) comes in three colors. It’s 100% cotton, which keeps you really cool during a heatwave! I also love the material because you can machine wash it.
I’m wearing a size xs for reference and yes, the red is more of an orange in real life. The slit makes it easy to walk around from day to night.
