I love how the holidays smell. There is nothing like the scent of a Christmas tree and cookies fresh from the oven. Since I can’t bake every day and I skipped the real tree this year, I’m using candles to get my fragrance fix during the holiday season. Here are my three favorite holiday candles I burn at my home and send as gifts to family and friends…
fruity
The Votivo Red Current collection is actually one of my fave scents year-round. It’s just the right mix of tart fruitiness with sweet vanilla. In addition to their classic candles and diffusers, they also have chic decorative versions like this Golden Allure candle ($32) and Wire Iridescence candle ($30).
woodsy
The Nest Birchwood Pine candle ($68) smells like a forest straight out a fairytale. I love the warm, musky scent for the holidays. And how chic is their silver matchbox holder ($30)?! Their packaging is also gorgeous for gifting.
luxe
I received a Lafco Feu de Bois Ski House candle ($42) last year as a holiday gift and burned it every day till in ran out. The scent instantly brought me to a luxurious ski cabin somewhere in Colorado, where I pictured having champagne by the fire place after a day at the slopes.
I am a big fan of holiday candles too. They create a great atmosphere a cheer up. I loved the Nest but the Currant is my favorite.
