One of my favorite things about shirt dresses are they are so versatile. I usually wear shirt dresses in warmer weather, either buttoned up a dress or worn open as a duster over jeans and a cami. But I loved this floral and leopard shirt dress so much that I had to figure out how to layer it for winter so I could wear it at February fashion week.
How To Layer A Shirt Dress Over Jeans
My solution was unbuttoning the bottom so I could belt it over coated denim. Then I added over the knee boots to keep warm and brought out the darker green of the print by borrowing Sheryl’s wool green coat.
I wore this outfit to the L’Agence presentation (watch a recap over on my fashion week vlog on YouTube!). I loved the movement the dress had worn open. It gave me extra confidence as I walked from the show to dinner in Meatpacking for, yes, another night of pasta.
