This week I included 5 things I’m loving right now in a YouTube video I did with with tips on how to get no heat beach waves! From the hair products I used, to the pillow I sleep in and the outfits I wore, everything below is featured in the video.
5 THINGS I’M LOVING RIGHT NOW
#1: fresh hair
I’ve been really trying to extend the days between washing my hair. Since I haven’t been able to get a haircut I’m doing my best to keep my locks as healthy as possible. To avoid frizz and flyaways, I’ve been using Pantene’s dry conditioner mist. It’s really lightweight, which is helpful for fine hair like mine. It hydrates without weighing down my hair.

#2: silk Dreams
I’ve talked about Night before. I’ve been sleeping on their Night pillow for almost a year now. The memory foam makes it so incredibly comfy! It also comes with a silk pillowcase. And I’ve recently added a new silk pillowcase to my favorite pillow in their new colors.
Now only does the silk feel super luxurious when I’m sleeping. I’ve also seen it work wonders for my skin and hair. I wake up with less creases on my face and my hair is significantly less frizzy in the mornings. It may be a bit of a splurge but it’s worth every penny.

#3: protected lips
I’m constantly stressing the importance of always wearing sunscreen on your face. And that includes lips too. But I still like to have a little color on my lips. That’s why I love Sun Bum tinted lip balms. They have SPF 15 but are still full of color. They go on much lighter than they look in the tube. But you can apply multiple layers if you want more vibrant color. Plus, they’re so incredibly moisturizing!
My two favorites are Sunset Cove, a soft pink, and Nude Beach, a neutral with a touch of coral.

#4: comfy flats
I’m not exaggerating when I say Birdies makes the comfiest flats ever. In fact, it’s an understatement! They’ve magically created slippers that you can wear both indoors and outdoors. You slip your feet into soft satin with memory foam that literally feels like a dream. And the rubber soles have no-slip technology, perfect for clumsy girls like me!
I love them so much that I have two pairs: the latte suede, which is a great tan neutral, and the slate suede, which is a soft seasonless gray.

#5: Pastel Fit
One of my favorite new workout brands is from my fellow blogger Emily’s fitness collection, IVL Collective. She has the softest fabrics and the comfiest fits.
My most recent addition is this pastel blue set. The sports bra has a sheer paneling in the back and the leggings are thick enough that they’re not see through (a problem I find in a lot of light color leggings!).
