#1: safe rainbows

My Sydne Summer Rainbow Tie Dye face mask was inspired by one of my favorite beaches in the world, Maui. Every time I visit, I’m amazed by the beautiful rainbows that pop up around the island. I hand dyed each print in my Tie Dye collection by hand. I love them all but the rainbow one always brings back wonderful memories of beach vacations. I hope I’ll be able to return sooner rather than later!

#3: powerful read

I have a whole new look at women of domestic abuse after reading It Ends With Us. The main character is a young woman who grew up in a household with an abusive father. While she didn’t suffer abuse herself, she watched her mother suffer througout her life. Despite it all, she moves to Boston and creates a thriving business. But her past resurfaces upon meeting a neurosurgeon she instantly falls for. This is a profound book that left me in deep thought after finishing the last page.

#5: guilty pleasure

I was looking for a mindless show the other week when I stumbled upon Elite. A week later, I had binged all three seasons. This Spanish drama is like a mix between Gossip Girl and Big Little Lies (two shows I’m equally obsessed with).

It’s centered around a wealthy private school in Spain, where teenagers act like grown-ups outside of class. When three kids from working class families get a scholarship to the school everything changes. There is murder. There is sex. There are drugs. There is glam fashion. And there is so much drama that you don’t even notice the show is dubbed from Spanish into English.
