There is something so powerful about a bustier. The minute I put one on, I instantly feel feminine and powerful. And thanks to fashion’s lingerie trend, bustier tops aren’t just for the bedroom. There are so many corset style tops that provide the same sexy confidence as a bedroom bustier… but are completely appropriate for public.

I was instantly drawn to the romantic sleeves of this lace-up back top. The floral print adds to the feminine factor and makes me think of sun drenched picnics in the English countryside. Of course, I’m in Los Angeles during safer at home. So I tucked the top into high waist jeans and put on my Sydne Summer blush face mask and mask necklace. At least my straw bag let me pretend I was heading out for the picnic of my daydreams!

I prefer corset style tops that you can tuck into high waist bottoms. But if you like leaving your top tucked out, I’d recommend a peplum style bustier.
