My new motto this week is balance. Finding balance in life was one of my intentions for the new year. But somewhere along the way, I completely lost track of it. For the past two months I became a major workaholic until it affect my health. So last week I took two afternoons off. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but for someone who has been working 15-18 hour days 7 days/week it was a huge step in the right direction for me. And it’s something I’m going to continue to work on as we head into it, dare I say it, fall! Seriously, how is it August already?! I know it’s weird to think about fall when it’s so hot out. But the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is always the best for fall fashion and beauty. This year they’re letting you see a preview of what’s on sale, so you can heart your faves to make for easy checkout when the sale goes live soon.

So many of my friends were telling me that their little girls were stealing their face masks. So I decided to come out with kids masks so they their daughters could now match them! We have three prints for kids: Pink Dot, Yellow Dot and Navy Dot. They’re the same as women’s, with pleating and adjustable straps, just in a smaller size to fit a child’s face. Mommy and me safety never looked so stylish!

#3 Floral dreams
Living right up the street from Melrose Place, I often drive past, peeking at the store fronts. I kept seeing the most beautiful floral arrangement growing on an unnamed space, wondering what it was. I finally learned the store when they recently opened their doors. I’ve always loved Love Shack Fancy’s clothing. And their new store is just as beautiful as their designs. From the floral couches to the beautifully draped dressing rooms, I could have spent hours in the airy shop. All the sales associates wear masks, of course, so I felt safe as I perused their new arrivals. I highly recommend popping in if you’re in LA.

I finally got some sun last week and each time I wore these gold Ray Bans. I always used to wear my aviators from the sunglass brand but I recently tried out these rectangle shaped frames and really like them for my oval face shape. Plus, it’s fun to mix things up sometimes.
