When deciding what to pack for Joshua Tree I had two things in mind: Western and layers. I’m obsessed with the Western trend, so I’m always looking for excuses to wear it. And a trip to the desert is the perfect opportunity to sport Western style. But it had to be with layers. The weather in the desert changes by the hour. It can be in the 30s and 40s in the morning and night and in the 70s during the day. That’s why I made sure each outfit I brought had three layers I could take on and off throughout the day (you can see them in action over on IGTV).
In addition to these three outfits, I brought leggings, a few t-shirts and sneakers for our hikes. And a couple of loungewear sets to wear around the house. I’ll do a post soon recapping what we did, where we stayed and what we ate. But in the meantime, here’s what to pack for Joshua Tree:
