Here’s Sabina’s step-by-step tutorial on how to tie a glam turban…

All time glamour symbols like Joan Crawford, Faye Dunaway and Joan Collins frequently wore turban styles created from scarves. They knew that a scarf tied low on the forehead makes the eyes and eyebrows stand out in a sexy way. For extra eye impact either match the color of the scarf or choose the opposite complimenting hue. For instance, with the scarf used here, Architecture Blue, both blue and brown eyes colors would appear more intense. You can use bobby pins to secure the scarf style in place. Here are some of my step-by-steps on how to create contemporary and fashionable turban styles out of a large square silk printed scarf.

Traditional Glamorous Turban
Step 1: Fold large square scarf in a triangle shape.
Step 2: Drape scarf over the head and cross ends at the back of the neck.
Step 3. Wrap the ends around the head and tie in the center on top.
Step 4: Place longer end on top of shorter end and tuck under.

Turban Headband
Step 1: Fold large square scarf in a triangle shape.
Step 2: Drape scarf over the head and cross ends on the back at the neck.
Step 3: Wrap the ends around the head and tie in the center on top.
Step 4. Wrap the ends around the head and tuck under.
