Fashion Staple Used: Full Midi Skirt
I remember when the bare midriff trend started to emerge. I was scared to try it until fashion week, but I instantly fell in love. The only problem is you walk a fine line when wear a crop top. Since my style is all about femininity and sophistication, having the right piece on bottom is key (my number one rule is no belly-buttons!). A full skirt−especially in pink!−makes the crop top ultra girlie. I went matchy-matchy with an Express top and bottom. Since pink makes such a bold statement, I kept everything else neutral and nude… including my midriff.
