Last week, I told you about one of my favorite places in New York to relax. In today’s Friday Fave I’m bringing you to another stop: the Alice in Wonderland sculpture. I always love walking through Central Park. In November, the fall leaves are magical. And in Spring, the flowering trees make you feel as if you’re in a storybook (did you see all the pics I couldn’t stop posting on Instagram?!).
The bronze statue based off of Lewis Carroll’s first edition of the children’s book inspired me to create a whimsical look for one of my days in the city. The abstract print of this top (also available in a dress and blazer), made me think of something Alice might wear to a tea party if she was all grown up. I paired it with distressed jeans for a modern take, then brought out the blues with my accessories.
