As much as I love getting glammed up for holiday parties, it’s also nice to have more casual holiday parties at home. Whether you’re hosting at your house or attending a friend’s party there is one trend that lets you stay cozy while still looking festively chic: mixed metallics. By adding touches of gold and silver, you can instantly glamify just about any outfit.
I started with a Charming Charlie gold knit sweater. It’s seriously one of the comfiest pieces I own right now. I paired it with dark skinny jeans that have so much stretch they almost feel like leggings. Then I mixed my metallics with silver pumps. I also tried the outfit with silver flats and it gives the exact same effect if you want your feet to be comfy too.
For jewelry I did delicate gold crystal rings and big holiday bow ring. It’s sold out online in gold but still available in red (and Charming Charlie has other super cute bow accessories, too). The finishing touch? A pearl and crystal bag. Wearing it as a cross-body gives it a more laid back vibe but I definitely plan on using it as clutch with my dresses… maybe for New Year’s!
