I’ve been getting a lot of questions about transitional pieces that can take you from winter into spring. One wardrobe staple I always bring out this time of year is the sleeveless turtleneck. You can layer it when it’s cold (like I did at fashion week), then use it to show off your arms as it begins to warm up. I love the longer length of this tunic to wear over leather leggings or skinny jeans. It’s fitted but the slit still allows for movement and makes sure it’s not too snug at the hips.
Clearly I’m having a neutrals obsession recently. Here I did all whites and beige, playing around with different textures thanks to the knits and denim, then a leather bag and suede shoes. Then I used gold accents for a bit of shine and to give the whole look a warmer vibe. Speaking of gold, how good were the Oscars yesterday?! I still can’t get over the fashion… and I have to get myself to the movies this week to see The Revenant.
