I just got back from New York last night and I’m already missing my comfy bed at the Hotel Giraffe. I showed you guys my room there during fashion week but today wanted to bring you to their rooftop. One of my absolute favorite NYC summer activities is to meet friends for drinks on rooftops. As I’m sure you could tell by Instagram this week, I’m always mesmerized by city views and can never get enough!
The rooftop at Hotel Giraffe is a great spot to unwind after a long day. It’s lively but not too crowded. The Flatiron location is incredibly central. And the staff at the boutique hotel is so incredibly sweet. After a long day of meetings running around town in this denim dress, I headed upstairs with a friend and sipped a glass of wine while watching the city sparkle as the sun set.
Like last month, New York was hotter than ever this trip and denim is a great material to wear because it doesn’t show perspiration! Love this vibe! Denim during the day and rooftop evenings sounds like the perfect city balance. Hotel Giraffe looks like such a cozy spot too, especially for a laid-back NYC stay with a bit of style.
It kind of reminds me of the relaxed atmosphere I’ve seen at some Spinnaker Resorts properties https://spinnaker-resorts.pissedconsumer.com/review.html as well—different setting, but that same easy “unwind and enjoy the view” feel. Makes me want to plan a little getaway soon.
