The holidays are an extremely hectic time of year. So it’s extra important to carve out some time for yourself. One way I like to recharge is with an at-home spa night. You don’t have to spend too much money and there’s something extra relaxing about indulging in some me time in the comfort of your own home. I teamed up with CVS Beauty Club to bring you 7 steps on how to easily create a spa night at home.
I love CVS because they all the best beauty brands in one store. Plus, as a CVS Beauty Club member, I get $5 ExtraBucks Rewards for every $50 spent. If you haven’t signed up yet, you even get 10% off your first purchase! Even better? I’m giving away a $50 CVS Beauty Club gift card so you can stock up on essentials to create a spa night of your own.
How to Create a Spa Night at Home
1. Set the mood.
Kick off your at-home spa night with a relaxing atmosphere. Pick up some pretty flowers on your way home from work, light your favorite candle and set a playlist for an evening of soothing music.
2. Mimic a steam room and moisturize.
Take a long hot shower or bath to mimic a steam room. Then make sure to moisturize. I recently discovered Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer at my local CVS. I love it because you can apply it before you dry off for extra smooth skin. Since my lips get extra dry during this season, I have lip balms in every corner of my house. Recently I’ve been reliving my childhood with ChapStick Classic Cherry.
3. Slip on something luxurious.
Instead of throwing on an old pair of sweats, treat yourself to some yummy loungewear. I like to wear silky pajama sets even when I’m just home alone with my dog Bunny. If it’s a bit chilly, add a fuzzy sweater.
4. Do a peel and mask.
There are so many great at-home peels and masks available at really affordable prices. Even after washing my face in the shower, I still like to do a quick wipe, like Beauty 360 Micellar Water Cleansing Cloths, to make sure I removed all my makeup. Next, I’ll brighten with an easy peel, like L’Oreal Revitalift Bright Reveal Peel Pads.
Next comes my favorite part: masks! Beauty 360 makes great single mask sheets, so you can mix and match depending on your needs from anti-wrinkle to antioxidants. You just leave it on for about ten minutes then simply discard the sheet. It couldn’t be easier!
5. Pour a delicious drink.
Whether it’s a glass of your favorite wine or a warm mug of hot chocolate, treat yourself to something decadent for your evening in.
6. Give yourself a mani.
I’m not talking about just a polish change. Give yourself an actual manicure! CVS has a huge assortment of nail products you can use at home. My favorite for this time of year is the Beauty 360 Almond Oil Cuticle Pen to help moisturize my chapped hands. I also get my Essie nail polishes at my local CVS. Right now I’m loving “Berry Naughty.” It’s the perfect wine color for holiday season.
7. Read and relax!
The final step? Simply relax! I like to stay away from TV during spa nights and instead just lounge with a good book or catch up on magazines. Just remember, it’s ok to take a break and treat yourself.

Fun tips. I never think if a spa night because in so focused on trying to catch up on NY shows but I could use a change. The fuzzy sweater and satin bottoms is such a cute combo. Enjoy and thank you!
