Karlie Kloss continues to inspired me with her dressed up denim. In Paris, the L’Oréal Paris Brand Ambassador attended an event for the makeup brand in an outfit I thought would be oh so perfect for a holiday party. As much as I adore my dresses, living in LA has made me a jeans girl. And pairing a fancy top makes your denim glammed up for holiday season.

Instead of buying an expensive bedazzled blouse, the supermodel inspired me to break out my brooches from retirement and use them to embellish a $20 top. I’ve always loved how brooches instantly make anything look more expensive. As for my jeans, I simply cut these to make them cropped (petite girls rejoice for the distressed hem jeans trend!). Then I slipped on a classic pair of black pointy pumps designed by our soon to be First Daughter. Ivanka makes the comfiest heels!
