In LA, it’s all about the pink wall. I used to take photos there back in the day, but now it’s such a tourist attraction that it’s impossible to get a shot unless you wake up at the crack of dawn. But I do love a pretty pink backdrop for Instagram. So while I was in San Diego, I visited three pretty pink spots that make for oh so gorgeous ‘grams.

Holy Matcha

I discovered Holy Matcha on Instagram. The tea room is just as pretty (if not prettier!) than it looks in photos. Everything is pink and green from the decor to the food and dairy-free drinks. Try to go early so you can get a seat on the booth by the window. It has such great lighting that they actually call it the “blogger seat.” There is also an adorable pink bench in front.

Pigment

Around the corner in North Park is a shop called Pigment. My friend McKenna recommended it as a super cute place to shoot. They have a living cactus wall and an ombré pink wall. It’s three large stripes of pink but it’s a much smaller space than LA’s famous pink wall. I couldn’t shoot there because it was too bright in the morning. So if you want a good Instagram, try visiting the store later in the day.

Flowerhill Promenade

My parent live in North County, so we often frequent Flowerhill Promenade in Del Mar. There are so many Instagram opps from yummy lunch spots to live plant installations. During our last trip, I spotted steps with vibrant pink fall leaves. I don’t know how long they’ll stay but if you’re in San Diego any time soon it would make for the best #shoefie!
