It’s my final home reveal! Today I’m taking you inside my new living room. The living room is what you see immediately when you open the doors to my apartment. I wanted it to be inviting and set the tone of the space.
Like the rest of the space, I went for a modern glam vibe with marble, blush and velvet. The biggest change is sliding doors. We added two extra feet so you can really take in the LA view the minute you walk through the door.
BEFORE & AFTER
I’ve always wanted a chaise lounge, so my designer, Jean Luxe, helped me space out the living room so I could include the velvet piece into the design. It’s now become my blogging chair. Even though I initially wanted a white couch, I’m so happy I went with the blush. The material is so much more Bunny friendly!
Not so Bunny friendly is the white rug. But I loved it too much and the texture does helps hide dirt. Since I wanted to show off the rug, I did a lucite coffee table. I’ve been playing around with different coffee table styling. Right now it’s a gold and agate theme.
Like the rest of my apartment, I mixed metals, playing around with gold, rose gold and silver accents. Since I have gold hardware on my entry doors, we did a gold flush mount as you walk in. And my friend Gray Malin’s rosé photograph sets the tone of the space.
One of my favorite pieces is my media console. It’s actually a sideboard table from Joss & Main. I simply drilled holes in the back to make it tech-friendly. The glossy white gives a clean vibe and the shelving allows me to switch up my decor styling. During the shoot I did a Chanel corner and various books and flowers. Over the holidays, I added garland. Now I also have this TV on the wall.
Since my apartment is all white, I ordered disposable slippers to give to guests when they arrive. I keep them in a little metal basket by the front door. I’ve been personalizing them by writing my friends’ initials with a sharpie on the slippers.

I also redid the balcony. I wanted new tile that was Instagram friendly, so I went with a gray and white print. I continued the lucite theme from inside the apartment with acrylic chairs and a matching bistro table. Then over on my outdoor couch, I added a playful touch with animal pillows. The raccoon pillow reminds me of Bunny!

I hope you enjoyed coming along with me on my #ssathome journey!
So pretty!
Thank you!
Absolutely Gorgeous!! I love the crisp clean look! The white slippers are genius!
Thanks so much! It was my mom’s idea for the slippers 🙂
So stunning and beautiful! I absolutely love your white flooring in your living room space and I’m looking for something similar. Can you tell me the brand and color of the flooring? Does it have more of a beige or gray undertone. Thanks so much!
Thanks Olivia! It was called Broadway. I got it at a tile store in Orange County. I definitely recommend looking at them in person. This was a lesser known brand that I liked more than others. It has more of a beige undertone.
love your style. I will be decorating and renovating a kitchen. I would like to use provincial style but not too bullky and with a simplistic look…if there is such a thing.
I will probable put in floor boards but not sure. Any ideas you could offer me would be appreciated.
Laura
Thank you very much for these solutions. It looks very light and gentle, I would say that you can immediately see that you had a hand in it. My husband and I were looking for a more standard option, and we are also thinking about white walls to make the guest room brighter. In this article https://thehousemode.com/best-living-room-colors-ideas-with-brown-furniture/ we have found great options for how to match the guest room with the brown furniture we bought
Please can you tell me where you found the blush sofa. It is lovely.
The entire feel of your space (and look of course) is just wonderful.
The interior of my room didn’t look perfect until I replaced the old windows. It wasn’t an overly necessary measure, but I felt like it. Plus, I didn’t have to look long for a window replacement company because my neighbor recommended me https://thwindowsdoors.com/windows-and-doors-oshawa/ oshawa window replacement. I needed a custom sized window installed and this team did a great job with this difficult task.
Can you advise me on a good option? Or maybe stores that sell this kind of furniture? I’ve tried to find craftsmen, but not everywhere quality materials.
Great photos and the article is cool too. But I like wooden furniture better. There’s something appealing about it.
Hi. Where can I order furniture like in your article? I liked her very much.
And I want to make a renovation in my house, but the prices for building materials are very high, so I decided to update the interior with different decor elements. I think it’s a good idea.
I am a renovator and I am always trying to be on trend, so I read and look for a lot of useful information in the field of interior design and decor. By the way, I saw that someone was asking where the best place to buy wooden furniture, particularly tables and I advise you to check https://cosywood.co.uk/tables/dining-tables/ . My clients often order tables at this store.
Great solution and it looks very good, thank you for sharing with us. I am also in the process of renovating some of the rooms and starting from the nursery. I have already found good options https://www.piccolo-house.com/product-category/furniture/table-and-chairs-kids/ for a table and a chair on which children will study, and also repainted the walls
