I love vintage. But I rarely have the patience to dig through vintage stores to score the ultimate find. So when I want a vintage vibe, I look for embroidered pieces. That way, I can give off a retro feel without having to do the shopping legwork.
Over the summer, I was obsessed with embroidered denim. For winter, I’m really into embroidered coats. This floral coat with faux fur is on sale for only $55! I could totally see Penny Lane from Almost Famous rocking this with her bell bottoms. To make the look more modern, I paired it with skinny jeans, booties and a matching sweater. Side note: how fun are these tulle sleeves?!

I love the look of vintage embroidery, but like you, I just don’t have the energy to sift through dusty racks at thrift stores anymore. I bought a similar embroidered jacket online recently to spice up my plain winter wardrobe. I tried pairing it with some of those viral honeycomb leggings for a comfy errand run, but I had a sizing issue and spent forever looking for the halara customer service phone number to get an exchange. It’s worth the hassle though when you find that perfect piece that looks vintage but smells brand new.
