Memorial Day Ready in White Eyelet

Memorial Day is the unofficial kickoff to summer. And whenever I think summer fashion, white eyelet always comes to mind. There is something so fresh about the cotton with it’s cutout designs. I love white eyelet dresses, sets or pairing eyelet skirts with tees and eyelet top with denim shorts or jeans.

When I was with my friends up in San Luis Obispo, I wore this white eyelet set (also available in a dress version). It perfectly matched the cute white cutout staircase by our room at Madonna Inn. I love when you unintentionally match the decor! The wind was out in full force that day but I didn’t mind because the ruffles blew beautifully in the California breeze. As for what to do on Memorial Day? I have no clue yet. I just got back from Paris and I’m so jet lagged! Right now the only thing I can think of is bed. But hopefully a white party will come up (or I’ll plan a dress code with my friends) so I can wear my white eyelet!
