When it comes to getting dressed, I’m all about making things easy. That’s why every season I create a “uniform.” It’s essentially a pairing of a top and bottom (plus a sweater or jacket in cooler months) that I have in multiple colors. That way, if I’m in a rush, I can get ready quickly by grabbing my easy summer uniform.
In past summers, my uniform was a button-down shirt with jeans or denim shorts. While I’ve already been reaching for the classic combo, I’ve added another uniform to the mix: a racerback tank with paperbag waist bottoms.
Racerback tanks feel a little more modern than a classic tank, especially when you add some layered gold necklaces. And paperbag waist bottoms are not only flattering but also super comfy! They nip at the waist and are fuller on bottom, which is especially good for an hourglass silhouette.

I went for a neutrals outfit with a white racerback tank and khaki paperbag waist pants. The cropped style showed off my new white sandals. They’re so comfy I also got them in nude! I like the linen pant because you can dress it up or down. I could swap my white tank for black and add a pair of heels and my summer uniform heads straight to dinner!
