I have so many weddings this year. You already saw two dress options for what to wear to a black tie wedding. So today I wanted to talk about late summer weddings. Next week, I’m attending my friend’s black-tie optional wedding at Bel Air Bay Club. It’s a beautiful venue overlooking the Pacific ocean. So I wanted something romantic and breezy… and something that I can wear again.

I chose a lace maxi dress. When you add glam accessories like sparkly bangles and a sequined clutch, it makes the look more dressy. When I want to re-wear it for something more casual, I’ll add a black leather jacket and edgier accents, like a studded bag. This dress actually came with a strap across the back. I prefer an open back so I took it to my tailor for some minor adjustments. Always remember that your tailor is your best friend. You can easily make something exactly the way you want it with a few quick stitches!

Great outfit, thank you! I would also wear something similar. I often read the advice in the article https://www.bridaltweet.com/profiles/blogs/how-to-save-on-your-wedding-during-inflation when planning my wedding that I decided that it was important to save on the outfit of my girlfriends. That is why we decided that everyone should wear something similar and simplify some outfits and flowers.
