New York fashion week officially kicks off today and I couldn’t be more excited! I came to the city early to do a special shoot (I posted sneak peeks on my Insta Stories and can’t wait to share soon!). Today is another busy day full of fittings, showroom appointments then Noon by Noir and Tadashi Shoji in the evening. I can’t wait to share everything with you! If you have anything specific you want to see on social media or my fashion week vlog, let me know!
Speaking of Tadashi, it’s one of my favorite looks from last year’s September New York Fashion Week. Here are my top 5 faves for a #throwbackthursday fashion week edition…
Fashion Tattoos
I felt so incredibly edgy wearing this tattoo dress (the short sleeve version is still available!). This season, I’m doing a more feminine look but plan to add some edge with my accessories.
Retro Blues
Last year I was obsessed with monochromatic outfits. Ok, let’s be honest, I’m still obsessed. One of the standout outfits was a head-to-toe blue look I wore to the Tracy Reese presentation.
Pop of Red
My friend Hunter Bell designed this incredible skirt and it was a major statement piece. New York City was really hot that day and it was nice having something voluminous to go with my more casual tee and ponytail.
Festively Fringed
This Parker dress easily could work this season. Fringe is still majorly in (how cute is this little black dress on sale?). I paired it with star shoes (another trend that’s even bigger now).
Print Mix
I’ve always been a fan of mixing prints. This House of Harlow top and silk pant was crazy comfy and worked as separates throughout the week. I later paired the pants with a white tee and the top with jeans for dinner.
All are such a perfect outfits, you have a great sense in fashion Sydne!
