I don’t know about you, but on the weekends, I generally find myself slipping into a t-shirt jeans. So I’m constantly looking for ways to elevate the casual pairing. My solution for when I feel like just wearing pajamas is the kimono.
I’ve talked about kimonos a few times on the blog. I love how they are so versatile. You can wear them over bathing suits on vacation, wear them as a robe inside your home or use them to add some feminine drama to jeans.
As we chatted about last week, red is a huge color this spring. So I was instantly drawn to the floral print of this long silky jacket (now on sale!). To make the print really pop I slipped into ruffle slides (also on sale!).
Since I’m only 5’3, this kimono is super long on me. So I needed a small heel to avoid it dragging on the floor. I do have a shorter kimono that I can wear flats with. But I love the dramatic vibe on a floor-length jacket. It instantly makes me feel like a movie star from an old Hollywood film… even if I’m just in a t-shirt and jeans.

Gotta love a floral and flow-y kimono like yours! I love just throwing a kimono over a simple white tee+jeans combo too! 🙂 You are always looking fantastic Sydne!
