I love a knit dress for late summer because you can easily wear it from now into fall. Plus, it’s super easy to pack (being stuck at home all I can think about is traveling to NY soon!). I was drawn to this knit dress because it has a bit of shimmer in the fabric. For now, I’m pairing it with clear sandals and a beaded bag. Come fall, I’d wear it with booties and a leather jacket.

But what about those summer nights when the chill sets in? That’s where I was inspired by Bella Hadid and her summer sweater:

When I first saw Bella Hadid wearing a knit set with a cardigan, I though it was Gigi. It’s so confusing now that they both have blonde hair! But after realizing which sister it was, I then thought, wow, I’ve never seen a cardigan look so sexy. I loved how Bella buttoned just the top button, to still show skin underneath. It’s the perfect look to bring a knit dress or set on a date as those summer nights start to get more chilly.

This look would also work for the office if you buttoned the middle buttons to hide any cleavage. And just swapping sexier sandals for a more classic pump. I linked to some more cardis below in case you want to try out the versatile summer sweater!
