I was a little nervous about only bringing one coat with me to New York. I was in the city for over a week and had so many different outfits. But leopard really is a neutral. Because my leopard coat matched with each and every outfit perfectly. Plus, I got so many compliments every day I wore it, which is always a mood brightener. You can see all the outfits I paired with my leopard coat in my NYC-Fall ’19 highlights over on Insta Stories. One of my favorites was this look I wore to a Talbots’ holiday party. Since I was just stopping by before dinner, I wanted something casual that was still festive. I fell in love with the pearl and crystal stones on this embellished sweater (it also comes in black and red). To make it extra festive, I added snowflake earrings. But on bottom, it was city casual with my favorite coated jeans and new black booties.
It was my first holiday party of the season and I had such a blast. I got to make cookies and this wreath! I can’t wait to share more holiday party outfits as they come up over the next few weeks… who knows, if it cools down in LA, maybe I’ll even pair them with my leopard coat!
