Natural Makeup for Zoom Meetings

Sydne Style shares natural makeup for zoom meetings

I got a few requests for a Zoom meetings makeup tutorial. So I filmed a tutorial for natural makeup for Zoom meetings today over on my IGTV channel. Personally, I like to do natural makeup when I have to hop on a Zoom meeting. Working from home, I feel like a natural look makes the most sense. The entire process from start to finish takes 10 minutes. Here are all the products I used in my natural makeup tutorial:

I’ve been getting really dark circles under my eyes from not sleeping well during the quarantine (I have the worst nightmares!). So I start with Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid in Peach. I then apply my favorite tinted moisturizer on top: bareMinerals Complexion Rescue. Since my face is a few shades lighter than my body, I tend to buy my tinted moisturizer in a shade darker than my face. I use Tan 07. I also love that it has SPF 30. I rub everything in with my BeautyBlender makeup sponge.

After my eye makeup, I’ll go back to my face with under eye concealer. My go-to is Tarte shape tape. I use light medium sand. One little trick I like to do is spray my BeautyBlender with Bliss Rose Gold Rescue Soothing Toner Mist before applying my concealer. I find it helps the product go on smoother and prevents caking into fine lines. I also use the concealer to cover any blemishes.

For powder, I use Laura Mercier Smooth Focus Pressed Setting Powder. The green counteracts any redness in my skin. And majorly helps reduce shine. Nobody wants a shiny forehead when they’re Zooming!

I skip any contouring for my Zoom makeup and instead just do blush and bronzer. I brush Nars Orgasm blush on the apples of my cheeks, which is a great peachy-pink shade I’ve been using for years. Then I get the look of a healthy glow with the Limited-Edition Mary Kay Illuminating Bronzers.

Before applying mascara, I set my face and eyes with a setting spray. Recently I’ve been using Tarte Maracuja Miracle Mist.

I’ve been keeping thing easy at home for Zoom meeting by just using one eyeshadow palette: Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat. I brush “Vibrate” all over my lids. Then I blend “Hot Spell” into the crease for definition. Instead of eyeliner, I use a flat brush and blend “Strike” from the palette onto my lash line, winging it out at the ends.

To make my eyes look more awake for Zoom meetings, I like to apply a light eye pencil to the bottom waterline of my eyes. I use Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Crayon in “Pink of Me.”

I fill in my brows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Brow Pencil in “Soft Brown.” I switch on and off with mascaras. But recently I’ve been loving CoverGirl Flourish by Lash Blast mascara because it conditions your lashes while volumizing.

I’ve been obsessed with  Mary Kay Gel Semi-Matte Lipstick in “Blush Velvet” since I tried it for a spring makeup look. It adds just the right amount of natural color and is super hydrating.

I hope this helps you with your Zoom makeup! If you need ideas on what to wear on your Zoom meetings, I have a whole post on my go-to Zoom outfits. You can also check out more of my beauty product reviews over on my Beauty Finds page!

Thank you for sharing! Very weightless, natural makeup. I do not like bright color, but Nude, barely noticeable – just love! It is very convenient that all cosmetics are described in detail, now I will collect a basket on Sephora and try again! I’m just using my coupons. It may be useful to you It’s cool that there are such bonuses and stores during the quarantine so that you don’t go shopping for your favorite brands.

What a great list of products. Thank you as always! You inspire me very much. I tested some of them in good make up studios in Singapore – who also gave similar tips for products

This is such a great list of products. The Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat has been my go to for some time now. I am however struggling to find something that looks natural on the lips.
